I find that the restrictions on selling of books a quandary. If I lived in
the UK I would have no problem acquiring one for you and sending it on.
Perhaps one of our UK friends may wish to exchange Christmas gifts with you,
you could give him a Christmas present of £30 plus postage and they could
send you a present of a TP/138/A.

However before going further I may want to check what the TP/138/A has in
it. The /A is the March 1951 edition, I just checked and find I have the
TP/138/B which is the November 1951 edition and it covers the Siamese bore
1997 cc engine and selectable four wheel drive transmission. I don't know
if the TP/138/A covers both those specification changes which are in your
1953.

In regard to the problem with the LRSOC selling to the US/Canada, one would
think that it is a restriction on trade and covered by the World Trade
Organisation. Someone in DC should pop around to Donald L Evans' (US
Secretary of Trade) office and get him to complain to the WTO. Otherwise go
over to Condie Rice's (US Secretary of State) place and get her to complain
to Tony Blair (British Prime Minister) that the LRSOC is conducting
seditious, un-American activities which is not acceptable from one of the
US' closest Allies!

Just my thoughts.

It might be easier to just say "NO" -- Reagan tried it with drugs :})
, but has anyone ever thought of how much trouble it would be to sue a
club from the USA? Who would have jurisdiction? Who would travel to
GB just to get compensation for a broken badge? I truly think this is
a non issue.

YMMV,
