This machine may have been stored in a barn, but it
must have been a barn with no roof. Note the subtle
layer of algae and surface rust, over just about every
surface. I would have thought a car with such low
mileage and stored in a barn for years, would have at
least had some paint left on the bonnet, Anyway it
looks like a good restoration project for someone,
although I have heard that the early diesels are best
left alone.

If anyone ever visits Perth, WA, go to Southern Land
Rover and ask to see their immaculate unrestored
low-mileage series 1.
