    G'Day Shane,
    I should be able to help regarding the seats. I have drawings for
the wooden frames of the seat bases and the shape of the foam etc. (they
are very different to the 86/88" models) and can post these to you if
you care to send your contact details off list. The backs were thinly
padded with horse hair matting.
    The Land Rover Owners Club of  Australia (Sydney Branch)
http://www.lroc.com.au/ has a reasonably large Series I contingent and
they may well be able to assist with sourcing parts, obtaining
information etc.
    The Land Rover Series One Club http://www.lrsoc.demon.co.uk/ is also
a valuable resource. Among other goodies, they have repro 80" workshop
manuals and parts books for sale. these are almost essential reading.
