Jeremy didn't refer specifically to this , and not surprisingly so since the
Serires One garage is now an Alladins cave of info, but thereare drawings
for the front seat covers. These are indexed under 'Seat Squab Plans'.
The plans are for recovering the seats on a 1956 S1 and so the backs are the
more flat top version rather than the shovel backs of the 80".
When I did mine I fitted velcro at the base of the seat back to allow for
them to be fremoved but the originals were of course fully stitched.
When fitting the seat backs I found it was best to make sure the padding was
correct and the cover in the right position before making the holes for the
seat brackets.
