SER1 Distributor query

Hi All

I have found that when the engine is running I can see arcing taking place
between the low voltage lead and the inside of the distributor. Obviously I
cannot see inside but would guess that it arcing the ground. I have
temporarily insulated the inside of the low voltage lead but it is still
happening albeit less so. I'm off to investigate now but would be interested
to know if anyone else has had this problem. It isn't actually causing a
problem but I don't think it should run that way.
