Hi Matthew and All,
One of the latest Rover mags collected in the UK talked about the different
seat in the early 109 10 seat and later 12 seat. From past experience with
Nick Chinery's, I felt that the 107 SW had more room than any 109 or 110 I'd ever
sat in, now I know why. So, perhaps the 107 and early 109 ( up to 1960?)
shared the seat mechanism? The 12 seat minibus rule was a tax dodge, which Rover
exploited.
We just viewed a 107 SW in the UK and was missing the rear seat. Perhaps it
isn't quite as impossible to locate as I first thought if shared with some
early 109 SW. Anyone been down this road?
And BTW, Dunsfold has/had a Steve Walker 107 SW chassis FS $1000 UKP. Not
galvanized but fitted out for LHD or RHD. And there is this 107 SW near
Huddersfield that needs a home......
I am saving my money for Micheal Burns Tickford. Buy the time the next
owner( whomever it may be) gets tired if it, I might have enough. If not, I could
learn more about reincarnation and hope for one in the next life.
