Hello all,
I'm going to have to attack my suspect starter motor soon (On an early 2 =
litre engine). The symptom is that every so often it will do half a =
turn and then stop turning, while continuing to make a plaintive =
groaning noise. Any ideas? I'm just trying to get half an idea in =
advance to try and minimise the time the vehicle is out of action as I =
use it daily and will be a bit stuck without it just at the moment.
If it was a late 2 litre I'd simply buy another starter and swap them to =
save time, but a recon unit seems to be totally unavailable for the =
early engines so I'm going to have to sort out the one I've got.
