All is not lost - if you have the chassis number the Australian Army records
still exist.  I believe that you can even find out if your Skippy went to
Vietnam.  However I have a feeling that only 109" LR were taken to Vietnam.
The people to contact are the Register of Ex-Military Land Rovers REMLR.
You may already know about them.  the Website for vehicle data is
http://remlr.150m.com/ARNseries2.html unfortunately no help with the history
in the East Islands of the long white cloud.  However your Skippy is a true
ANZAC!

fly one of these you could fly just about anything. I saw the Temora
documentary on Sky the other day, love those Dragonflies.
Land Rover content... I'm restoring an ex NZ Army S2a 88" 'GS' (called
"Skippys" over here), rumoured to have been used by the Australian Army in
Vietnam.
