Hi all, After 30 years doing this I only ever use the MK I eyeball for clutch alignment it is more than accurate enough, I have never had a problem getting a box in on any vehicle, just make sure you have the box in gear and turn the input shaft when mating them up because the splines are so coarse you will need to line them up as well...............Paul................
