Hi Mark,

In addition to the swivel kit I went for wheel cylinders/ brake shoes,
brake adjusters (since mine had been attacked with a blunt spanner by a
previous owner <grin> ) brake springs , new bolts and locking tabs to
hold the bottom of the shoes, wheel bearings (3 per side - inner and
outer in the hub + one in the back of the swivel ) and seals.

I also went for new hub nuts (217355) (the big ones that you need the
special spanner for (also available from paddocks) . Word of warning
here I've had 2 lots from paddocks of these nuts (their number frc8700)
and 1 lot had a different (later?) thread and didn't fit - I may have
just got lucky with the first lot?!. Again this was because the nuts
on mine looked chewed - you may not need these. Craddocks will also
have these

You'll also probably need the large locking tab washers to lock these
nuts. Paddocks sell one sort (was p/n 217353) but not the other(p/n
217352) . I managed to get the correct part from LR fasteners, but
with hindsight 2 lots of the sort paddock sells would probably work
just as well (cheaper and easier too) - not sure though.

If your axle has large springs on the top pins for the cone bearing
(may not as it's a later one- spring p/n 242742) I would recommend
replacing these too - these can be hard to find but blanchards had some
when I was looking, as did craddocks.

Hope this helps

J

We are now implementing a new ticketing system to improve response time
and
reduce the chances of a request being missed. This does mean a change of
email address, but will help us to help you more efficiently. In future
we
ask that new job requests be sent to nsmsjobs@xxxx.xx.xx.xx and general
queries/discussions to nsms@xxxx.xx.xx.xx.

Thanks for your cooperation - the NSMS Team.
