I am running 750-16"s without any problems, after I made a few 
adjustments that is...... 

1. You have to adjust the turn stop bolts on the front hubs to prevent 
the tires from rubbing the frame on full lock.  This increases your 
turning radius, but is easy to live with.

2. You might want to change your shackles to 109 or military shackles.  
These are longer than the std 80" ones, and prevent most of the tire 
rubbing on the rear body when you get "crossed-up".   I put them on 
front and rear to keep the truck level (level being a relative term on a 
landrover, of course).

Works great for me and lets me cruise on the flats at 60-65mph. Because 
of the increase in tire size, it will indicate about 12% under on the 
speedo.  I have verified this with other vehicles beside me and with a 
gps.  Mind you, as soon as I find any kind of a hill my speed drops 
dramatically........  :)
