hello again,

So my 88 is nearly back on the road, after a long period of rest and
meditation. New parabolic springs, new loom, and she may even get a
new coat of paint. The only remaining problem, apart from convincing
the MOT inspector that the bulkhead holes are for ventilation, is the
very cracked nearside windscreen panel (it was whacked by a tree
during a big storm earlier in the year).

My local mechanic had found a new windscreen for me, but he's just
been put in prison for 'quite a long time', according to his very
annoyed wife, and it didn't seem nice to ask whether he'd shouted
anything about the location of my windscreen from the dock as he was
dragged away. Poor sod. I don't know what he did.

Anyway. I need your advice yet again, please. Can a ten-thumbs like
me hope to replace just the winsdscreen glass, or could I maybe get a
whole new windscreen assembly from somewhere? If it had working wiper
motors attached to it, that would help :)

thanks, as usual,

will

ps. I'm in the north of England, if that makes any difference.
