Good Morning!

I am pleased to report that TransLab '05 was completed, ahead of schedule
and without incident, at 1700 EDT August 31. Total distance by the
odometer (which reads low): 5870 kilometers. Meaningfull distances were
covered on 18 of the 20 days enroute (one inactive day was Petersham,
the other was waiting for the ferry at Goose Bay) for an average rate of
326 km/day, with the single best day 516 (from Skowhegan, Maine to
Campbelltown, New Brunswick) on August 15. Longer distances could be
covered with a more comfortable seat :-)

Re the green light, there is no question that on my TT, its the discharge
light -- whenever it goes dark the ammeter needle jumps up. There are
also no noises indicative of low oil and the burn rate is normal. I'll
sort it out this weekend if nothing intrudes.

Thanks for all the advice and support from the list. Planning for '07 can
now proceed based on experience.
