SER1 OT: Remanufactured Landys

Subject: SER1 OT: Remanufactured Landys

Just thinking out loud, but is anyone remanufacturing complete Series 
IIA/III's?  I was thinking expedition-ready, with new frames, alternators, 
wiring and lights, faster axles, disc brakes, etc. but still 
field-maintainable (no electronics in mission-critical functions).

I was thinking something that could be purchased by companies and 
institutions that wouldn't look twice at a used or 'restored' Landy.
