Dear Allan
Please accept my apology if I have offended you with
my last post. Unfortunately your last message has
upset me quite a bit, as I believe the rules for this
mailing list (see below) have not been followed.
I do possess the 48 to 58 Manual as I have said
before; my copy has not got any information about the
gauge dimensions. I have ordered a parts book from the
UK 3 weeks ago, it is yet to arrive. Thanks to Ulrico
I will be able to get the diff assembled long before
the manual arrives. I first read about TP138 very
recently when Diana mentioned it, I will get one as
soon as possible. I am not aware that I have asked
95% of my questions as stupid ones. Perhaps it is
because I am new to this list and new to Series 1
restoring that I know so little and have therefore
been irritating. However, the website does say don't
be shy and that any comment or questions about Series
1's are welcome. I am not "worried" about 4.88:1 diffs
only interested.
Thank you Ulrico for your help and Diana as well, you
have both been very kind and helpful.
