Bob,
I will soon be in the same position as yourself: when I purchased my 88"
it had spent the previous 14 years sitting in a shed: the guy I bought
it from spent a couple of hours looking for the tax book (V5) but it has
never turned up: they had tidied up too well after his father passed
away! The DVLA website has guidelines on retaining original
registrations or getting an age related one: it lists a variety of
information needed for these purposes. Nice to know that Michael Burn
can also give a little guidance...
