Re: SER1 Information wanted on BBC Series Ones

Knowing my ex-employer as I do, any Beeb Series 1 would have been well
fitted out with solid workmanship, not unlike an expensive mobile
wardrobe!  I'm afraid that it would be just a little before my time, as
by the time I joined (1968) they were on to Series 2s (and I still have
the scars on my right calf from the front bumper I fell off whilst
larking about at an Outside Broadcast at the Ulster Show that year).

But as a BBC Pensioner, I receive the quarterly newsletter for retired
old buffers.  If I can find an old copy with the 'Letters to the Editor'
details, I'll post Simon's query and see if an older buffer than me can
come up with anything.  May take some time, though.
