This particular 80" is a complete strip down once home and start from = scratch.....history I know is it was a CKD...was bought by forestry or whoever they were and it = spent its life in and around the Tumbarumba/ Tumut forest areas...then went into private hands....now a = paddock ornament..... Cheers Bruce ----- Original Message -----=20 From: Eighty Inch=20 To: series1@xxxxxxxxx.xxx=20 Sent: Monday, January 02, 2006 12:42 PM Subject: Re: SER1 Part numbers question?... Bruce If it's just for recovery you can use just about any rim and tyre. I = have 2 x Range Rover 205 R16 on my 80" at the moment while I get the = originals repaired and painted. Do you know Allan Harding? We borrowed a pair of 6.00 X 16" off a = friend of his from the ACT LR Club in Canberra when we had trailer = troubles on the way to Melbourne - they would be ideal for your task and = they're not in use at the moment. Allan may be able to rustle you up a = complete set. Let me know. Thanks so much Diana....I need a a set of rims and tyres to be able to = recover a 1953 80" from a paddock down near Tarcutta.....I'll grab the rims and find some = tires to enable me to winch and get it on a trailer etc...... Thanks again and I will advise the outcome...
