Hi Mark

In that Land Rover didn't make any roof racks at that time, no roofracks
were "original". All the types would have been after-market and designed
and built by individuals or specialist companies. A bit like many of the
Snowy Mountains Authority vehicles in Australia, there were all sorts of
bodies fitted and most of them not in the parts catalogue, like the Olding
P/L canopies on the 107" and 109" SMA Ambulances.

So it would be a case of: if you like a design then build it, particularly
if you find a contemporary photo of one. It would be no less original than
a replacement mudguard made by Keith Wadsworth.

Cheers
Diana
