I disbled SELinux when I installed the machines:


SELinux:  Initializing.
SELinux:  Starting in permissive mode
selinux_register_security:  Registering secondary module capability
SELinux:  Registering netfilter hooks
SELinux:  Disabled at runtime.
SELinux:  Unregistering netfilter hooks

I've just done this, and it hasn't had any affect.

I've been doing this as part of the standard install process -
removing all unnecessary packages and services. The only network
service running is SSH - this is the same as on the FC1 boxes.
chkconfig --list on the FC3 box is as follows:
