  I think that's a wonderful idea.  Do Perl, mod_perl, and Apache for
  the whole package.  
   
  According to http://www.intel.com/software/products/compilers/clin/
  it is source and object compatible with recent gcc's, so you wouldn't
  have to use it for everything.
