Yes, while missing the sideline diversions and half time shows of=20
American games, cricket, as I recall is a game replete with arcane=20
expressions such as "bowling a maiden over, ""silly mid off,"short=20
square legs," and the games are fueled with a heady mix of cucumber=20
sandwiches and club house tea. Having settled our colonial differences=20=

some years back, the game is even played in the States with it[s own=20
league.
Cheers to both sides represented on the list and Have a good Test

Currently there is a test match series going on between New Zealand
and Australia. The game that Shane refers to is the second test=A0 in
Adelaide. A cricket test match lasts for five days and there are no
pom-pom girls etc. unlike American football, which just
<underline>seems</underline> to last for five days.

=A0=A0=A0 I will leave an explanation of the rules and terminology to
somebody else. At stumps yesterday (end of day three), the Austrlians
were 0 for 57 in their second innings. Play on day four is due tio get
underway in less than an hour.
