Exactly the Snowy Mountain hydro electric project.  The first Land Rovers
imported into Australia were imported for the project and Cooma was the
Headquarters of the Snowy Mountain Authority.

HI Diana,

Is there any signifigance of holding the 60th event in Cooma? I know
that the 50th was held there (in fact I have a cloth patch that Allan
kindly gave me) and I have also been to Cooma hunting for relics of the
Snowy Mountain Hydro project, but is there any other reason?

That's great we can get to the Anniversary but have to pay full fare to
get back.  Does anyone have a spare LST (Landing Ship Tank) they could
loan us?

There is always the 60th Anniversary to be held in Cooma, Australia,
everyone is also invited to that as well.
