To muddy the water, this particular S2, an early 2.25 diesel (I think it's
1961) does have a steering wheel centre horn push - whether it's the same as
the S1 type I don't know. It's almost certainly the original fitment - it
had been on the same farm from new until acquired by my friend for
restoration recently.
Anyway, it's in poor condition and it seemed like it would be a quick and
easy job to fit a steering column bracket and push as an alternative for the
sake of getting a reliable horn going while not removing any original
features.
