Diana the series one 109 does indeed have the same bracket and horn push as the series II which is a MGA 1500 horn push attached with setscrews to the bracket.............Paul........

Just to clarify 1 point about the horn push bracket on the Series II - The series
II does
not have a static tube through the steering column and does not use the horn
push/headlamp dip switch we all know so well (which may, also be fitted to the MGA

1500) in fact the steering wheel centre is a blanking plate.

The horn push was sitting on a metal bracket/arm that clamped to the steering
column
housing - in the same area where the indicator stalk is also located.

Just so everyone is familiar with our younger cousins - I suggest we all go out
and buy
1 series II each - then we'll be able to compare notes.

Cheers
Diana
