Yes - I believe that end is the same - not exactly sure about the other - I
have never tried swapping them over!

Hi Nick,
On mine the cable is retained by three annoyingly tiny screws; is that the
design you're thinking of? The cable that broke was definitely too long,
so it wasn't original for my '52. I'm guessing it was for an 86" -- their
cables exit the transfer case toward the centerline -- but I could use
another like it with a bit of care if I could remember where I got it :-)
