According to the 1948 - 53 Parts Catalogue (Part number4051), the cable
inner and outer are R234536 & R234537.

According to the 1954 - 57 Parts Catalogue (Part number4107), the cable
inner and outer are R234536 & R234537, that would make them the same part in
both the late 80" and the 86"/88' & 107"/109" Series 1 models.

and

According to a popular eBay LR parts vendor the later Land Rover part number
RTC3484 SPEEDOMETER CABLE 1950 - 1971.

So I guess they are the same.
