A good jetwash is great at the end of the trip, however on long trips
through the scrub you have to clean out the grass frequently. I had a
friend in a Sydney 4X4 club who was doing the Gunbarrel Highway in the
Northern Territory and Western Australia, (high way in the ancient meaning,
its little more than a cattle route). He pulled out the grass from his
Nissan Patrol at the overnight campsite, then the next day after about 4
hours travelling had smoke coming out from under the car. 2 fire
extinguishers and a Gerry can of water later the fire was out but the car a
real mess.

Certainly agree with you on that Alan "Are we not forgetting the origins of

Like I said before, can't beat a good jetwash.
