Sounds like a hand full. Thanks for the info on road speed, noise and fuel
economy. I=B9ve got to do the math on the k per liter vs. miles per gallon,
but it does seem to add up in my head quickly to being good! With my V8
powered RR, I get about 11-13 miles per gallon on the highway at about
70-75mph. On hot days with the wind at my back, I might get 14mpg. A
diesel would be very much appreciated.
>From your experience, it sounds like the Td5 has a lot of problems and
design issues. I=B9d be disappointed about the performance and maintenance
costs of the the thing. A new head after 70,000k is not acceptable! How
was the service from Turner?
Thanks again for your input. Any thoughts on the 300tdi?
