All this debate has been kinda interesting....seems to me
A few issues have emerged.

1. There are quite a few passionate about the environment....
2. Some confused about what environmentalists and terrorists are...
3. Seems we are all people who think fairly deeply about a whole range
of issues
4. We all still like Land Rovers!......

In my mind this is all good except item 2.

When all is said and done there is one thing for sure.....keeping 50
year
Old cars going is a VERY worthy thing to do.....the environmental
reasons
Are many fold....in the end its all about carbon flux.....

It was said to me here a few months ago by one of the carbon accounting
boffins the "zero carbon" balance point for a motor vehicle is 17.5
years and if it is kept going beyond that then you are in carbon
credit!....IIRC

If that's the case then Series one LR's are now in Credit 2.5 times or
more...

Not a bad way to conduct ones motoring and environmental management I'd
say.....

Dear List

Unfortunately one of the few places where terrorism was successful was
the
Jews in Palestine under the British and look at Israel today.

We have got so far off the plot and it's all got too personal so that's
the
last I will say about it.

Or anything.

Goodbye
Diana
