Dear Ian Stuart,
Which Lumenition set do you use (magnetronic the build in unit or optotronic
with an external control box)on what distributor, the original Lucas DVXH4A
or a more recent type like the Lucas 25D?
I am planning to use the magnetronic unit on a DVXH4A distributor, but that
is unfortunately not a strait forward fitting. So I am interested to hear
from LR owners who use that combination.
Seeing forward to hear from you.

Interesting.
As I've said, I have a luminition system on my (spread-bore) 2ltr... and
it's great. I used to have hassles with the condenser and the points
(it's a "tweaked" engine, and non-standard dizzy). The luminition has
been a plug-and-forget system: no pitting points, no having to reset the
gap, no losing power at the top end...
Definitely recommend it (or it's ilk)
