Did you use a rubber mount system or bolt directly to the frame?
Could the leaks be caused by the tank flexing?

Just a thought.

It was thoroughly primed, painted and undersealed and there is no sign of significant rust - it just leaks. This seems a pretty poor lifespan to me, and in view of that and Matt Draysey's recent comments about the quality of his new club tank I'm a bit reluctant to go down that road again. What are other peoples experiences of these tanks for everyday vehicles? No one else currently has S1 tanks in stock but I've been told that a lightweight tank is the same width and will fit, and as these are available as 'genuine' ex-military stock this seems appealing - has anyone fitted one of these to an S1?
