Hi Tom,

Thanks, yeah will have to carry out that method,

Everything is going on to a new chassis and bulkhead, so we will need a =
few new bushes and bolts anyway.

The soaking in oil only helped removal of the nuts on the tapped side =
of the shackles.

Bob

On top of what I said about burning out the bushes, don't forget that =
the shackles are tapped nexy to the locking nuts, which is why you need =
the grinder at the other side.=20

Hi, Down to the old chassis and the axels on our 80 rebuild. Having =
trouble shifting the shackle bolts where they go through the chassis =
itself. Have shifted and removed the locking bolts, but the bolts =
themselves are somewhat tight to say the least. They refuse to budge. One =
sheared, when we used a steel sleeve on the socket. Left them soaking in =
oil for a couple of days. Have any of you guys any advice on shifting =
these bolts. Thanks Bob
