Hi Graham,

I have had the same experience - my hood is by Exmoor Trim. The canvas is 
good and water proof and the stitching is top rate but the hardware is not 
quite as good. The brass eyelets are not punched/crimped tightly enough. One 
of the cleats one side of the canvas came off because the rivets were not 
properly installed. These can be corrected easily before installing the 
hood.

If you are having a hood made for  a 107, be warned that Exmoor does not 
have the right pattern for the style that laces to the back of the truck 
cab. On my hood the buckles and straps were sewn on in the wrong places such 
that I can't attach the canvas to the cab properly. I bought my hood in 2002 
- Exmoor may have corrected this since then.

This does not sound like a favorable review - but compared the other hood 
makers Exmoor is the best. Given the price (180 quid for mine) this is good 
value. Here in Canada such a hood would cost easily twice that amount if I 
were to have one made by a sail shop or some such.
