By the way, regarding the photo just preceding the URL,
you might want to carry a tarp to keep the bottom of your
jack getting soiled, rather than using the spare.  Or, to gain
extra height, take along a wood block.  In the alternative, try
jacking under an axle to raise the vehicle tire, as it seems you're
running out of lift.  In any case, using the now flattened spare
to jack up the vehicle makes changing a flat tire problematic.
How would you exchange the flat tire on the vehicle for the
spare when the jack is standing on the spare?
