Martin,

IKBA really, but as I understood it when I looked into getting one for my
S1, the 34 ICH is produced as a generic replacement carb for Solex and
Zenith's on any number of older vehicles. There are different flavours of
34ICH with the same body but different jetting and so on for different
applications. The one I brought certainly didn't have the wire sticking out
of the side that the one on ebay did. Mine came off an S111 2.25 for
which it had been supplied new just a couple of 100 miles earlier. I think
there is only the one Weber fitment for Landrovers - Dingocraft list it and
may be worth talking to, I'm sure a ring around of the usual UK suppliers
will tell you more. Stafford Dovey told me at the time that he could
supply a correct new Weber for about £85 if I remember rightly. He also had
second hand ones then (And SU conversions come to think of it).

Mine came second hand from http://www.automotivecomp.com/ off a vehicle they
were doing major performance tuning on. SU's are really their thing but the
director - Roland Marlow - was extremely helpful to me, and may be worth a
call.
