When you get the clutch plate out, if it is a Valio unit, there may not 
appear to be anything obviously wrong with it. Don't despair, you have to 
examine it very carefully. I clamped the clutch plate in a vice and turned 
the centre by hand with a dummy mainshaft and it was then easy to see the 
sheared damage.
