SER1 2 litre Oil Filters

Subject: SER1 2 litre Oil Filters

Now and again on here the question pops up as to which alternative oil
filter can I use or where can I get them...
Another make and part number just for the record, to cross ref at the local
commercial auto parts suppliers is a "GUD" Filter. Part number GP504

There are some of these c 1950's on ebay at the moment and the price is
already above what you would pay for brand new with no effort. The snag with
the old stock ones is that the end caps are likely to be quite rusty.
