Dear LR Friends,

 

The chassis, axels and rims are sandblasted. Welding the chassis is
underway. So I am gradually moving to the clean and rewarding part of the
restoration: putting things together, building my own LR.

 

I learnt a lot of the discussions in the year I am connected tot the Series
One Garage.

 

One more question: does anyone of you have a suggestions for 6.00 x 16 or
6.50 x 16 tires in a more or less original look for a 1950 80" Series One
Land Rover? The preferred Michelin XCL is not in production anymore. Any
suggestions, especially tires available in Europe or UK.
