Hi Mark

Wow! I didn't know he built the whole thing from scratch. Restoration or
replication that is an amazing effort! Yes, I visited Keith in his workshop
last June. I was hoping to buy some inner/outer wings for an 86" I was
planning to restore (I have now decided that vehicle is beyond help due to
the very poor state of its chassis and it has become my source of parts).
Unfortunately my budget was running low and the cost of shipping to
Australia beat me... Keith and his dad were very good to me though. It was
an amazing day. I caught the train from Manchester to Halifax, and then
having no idea how far it was from Halifax to Keith's house I walked all the
way to Barkisland (how far is that, 8 miles?) To top it off I was in the
first stages of what turned out to be a horrid case of flu and got heavily
rained on. I cursed myself for not bringing a raincoat (stupid Australian!)
but pressed on only to find I could have caught the regular bus service! It
was well worth the effort though.

Cheers

Martin
