Craddocks do, or did have fully floating S1 halfshafts in stock a couple of 
years ago. I bought a couple to rebuild my 86" back axle after breaking a 
halfshaft. These, and some hubs off  a dead Series 2 axle did the job a 
treat. Even managed to find a pair of 'knobbly' drive flanges so it matches 
the front axle, rather than the round Series 2-3 ones.
Wether these halfshafts were mega rare old stock Series 1 parts, or readily 
available Lightweight parts, I don't know...
