Hi ian
you should use a solex carb. In my opinion the solex is the best and
simplest. If you can't find a solex the webber or zenith will do, but are
more trouble than they are worth.I am aware that the solex is hard to
find,if you get stuck i might be able to help you out.

My "86 does not have an original carb. There is one from an american
company that was adapted to fit.  What kind of carb should I use?
webber? zenith?
