I have a hazy memory that at least some S11/11a's had an inlet manifold with
the carb mounting studs at 90 degrees and differently spaced to the S1 (and
S111??).  Hence needing the adaptor that came with the Weber to fit it to
your S11. I think you'll find the 34ICH will go straight on the S1 - it
certainly did on mine.

Why not whip the Weber off the S11 and try it?
