Even better - So it's O.K to use it without the above, but only if I promise
not to use it after 1986, Sounds fair enough to me.
Who has the Series 1 Garage time machine at the moment and can I borrow it
next time I wish to drive my Australian 1951 in the UK?
Thanks - All I wanted was a wiring diagramme to make (a now too modern)
semaphore switch work on an 80". But now I have to back date the switch,
put flashing lights and a clicker inside the cab, not drill unofficial holes
in the dash, waving semaphore/trafficators on the outside and have a time
machine to boot.
What would happen if I asked for something difficult.
Thanks for everyone trying the assist. I love hearing the differences in
Legislation and Regulations around the world. Now onto another subject -
Please - PLEASE - ! Before I have to have a Policeman on points duty before
I can drive out my gate.
Diana

From the UK MOT Testers manual:-
"Note: A 'tell-tale' may be audible or visual, it is not required if one or
more direction indicators on each side can be seen by the driver from the
driver's seat."
I guess that covers the trafficators, although it appears that this only
applies to vehicles only used on or after 1st April 1986 anyway.
The testers manual and a wealth of other useful information is at:
