HI Everyone,
Not sure where I read this recently, but as part of the MoT, the wipers must 
clear the glass in two sweeps.  Now I don't know of that is two "cycles" or 
just two passes, one over, then the return.  Clearly, this was optimistic with 
L-R wipers!
Also, if soft top, you can remove the canvas, fold the screen down and no 
wipers are required!  Richard Hughes says that is how he often gets through MoT 
as one of his motors is seized.  Brit logic at it's finest.
