Hi Tom,

I *should* be fitting the chopped 86" top, but I'm still looking for the
opportunity to do it.  Will advise when it happens, the problem ahead
being mostly where to cut through the window openings :-)

take a slice right out of the middle with allowing for a 1/2" ovwrlap for
riveting.
remove the exess mat of the roof section just in fromnt of the back panel.


I guess i'll fit lap belts so it "feels" safe and keep the peace.
Trounle is that once belts are installed You HAVE to wear them to avoid
costly tickets, points and subsequent insurance hikes
In canada You only need belts if the were factory fitted, so it is perfectly
legal to drive the 80" without them.
My argument: tractors , schoolbuses and such don't have belts and "You don't
wear full body armour while riding on horseback" did not have the desired
effect. Dohh
