Hi Tom,

I *should* be fitting the chopped 86" top, but I'm still looking for the
opportunity to do it.  Will advise when it happens, the problem ahead
being mostly where to cut through the window openings :-)

Re seatbelts, I fitted lap belts to my TT at my boss' request but, as my
Landy mechanic pointed out, without a shoulder restraint you're still
going to be making a mess on the steering and/or windscreen in the event
of a head-on, and if you roll the pavement will be on your head.

Without a rollcage they're only cosmetic.  That said, it feels like you're
doing something safetywise and, if the local constables stop you you don't
have to explain that you're 'grandfathered' out of the need to 'buckle
up'.
