G'day Diana
That sounds feasible.
The Us and Canada are surely breathtaking with regards to scenery ,but so is
Australia, i would imagine.

Tom

Sydney to Darwin is a real long and boring way, many many fewer trees than
you would see on your trip. To get there from Sydney I would probably go
via Dubbo (they say "all roads lead to Dubbo" in fact all roads lead out of
Dubbo - nothing to do there once you have seen the African animals in the
Zoo) then through Bourke, Mount Isa, Tennant Creek and finally Darwin - all
very flat country with not many towns. The only significant mountain range
"the Great Dividing Range" occurs between Sydney and Dubbo and you would
call them hills. On that trip I would have to use the Rangie and get all
4600 cc working to get the trip over as quick as I could.

I think the alpine regions of North America would be much more interesting
in an 80".

Maybe we could swap, when my 80" is finished you can come over and borrow
her and go bush into the outback and I can borrow yours and go see Canada.

Regards

Diana
