Hi again,
The cap I bought, in an ancient card box marked '261240' that looked like
some of Dunsfold's Landy surplus, came from Tennessee Land Rover here in
the states -- they bring in some Dunsfold stuff for Series Ones. It was a
top entry bakelite piece of obvious antiquity. The one I need is larger.
As to whether I have the siamese or spread bore, I don't know. It's a
Belgian Army contract rebuild (one of the red ones) done in the early
'90's (you have to love a government that rebuilds the motor just before
surplussing out a vehicle with 35 000 K on the clock).
