Hi Diana, Tom T, Nick et al,

Pleased to report that I turned the entire subject over to my mechanic who 
leases space from a chap who buys British car surplus -- an hour later 
I've got a new side entry cap, rotor points and condenser.  Don't know 
exactly what Rover numbers I bought, but problem solved, other than 
straightening out the confusion with TLR.
